Re: Shadow cat - epoxy
Where is hydra located?
Ball park figure, how much would it cost me to get someone to do the work?(roughly).(structure only) I will pay to fly someone to Montreal and tell me the condition of the boat. It is a very nice boat & I hate to cut it up. A little hard work, she may become a nice boat. It looks like she was covered since 1996. The paint is in great condition, except for a few cracks. The trailer still looks new! But, man she would be a piece of art once completed. Thanks again, for everyones help. I will get some pictures out before the week-end. |
Re: Shadow cat - epoxy
STV92,
In the Toronto area there are 2 glass guys that would be capable of fixing this boat, and fixing it right. One is John Speath in Brechin Ontario, he is very very busy right now, and the other is Kashe Boat Works in Gravenhurst. If you need more info, I can get it for you. RT |
Re: Shadow cat - epoxy
do you have any pics of it you can post? sounds like an interesting boat.

Re: Shadow cat - epoxy
That would be nice.
I am thinking of getting someone to handle the rough, I may do that part or get it done. If you know someone good, give me their number & I will give them a call. Anybody in Ontario have the space to paint a 30ft.? Good paint job. |

Re: Shadow cat - epoxy
There are a number of Shadow Cats out there that have:
1. Not been burned to the water line 2. Real decks on them 3. A price that is probably cheaper than the "repairs" on Black Duck. They crop up from time to time........ Patience is its own reward. T2x |
