Looking for a Diesel Powered Test Boat

Hello Everyone-

My Name is Don Gardner and two guys and myself have started up a new company called Maritime Engineering Group. Recently, we have come up with an exhaust system that will clean the particulate matter (the black, smelly smoke) from the exhaust stream of a diesel engine.

We have hundred of hours of testing on a dyno with great success. Now I am looking for someone (in the Fort Myers area) that would be willing to let me install this system on there boat. I am looking for an engine in the 120hp-315hp range. It can either be a main engine or a generator.

I know a performance boat is not a candidate for this type of system but I was hoping that someone on this site has a friend that would like a cleaner diesel engine. Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

What about Mastry Marine in St Pete, maybe they could get you in contact with someone that may have what you are looking for.

Hillbilly-

Thanks, Tampa is too far for the first tests. I would like it to be within a half hour of me, so I can monitor the test while it is going on. This way if a problem occurs I can fix it ASAP.

Thanks
Don

Don I have a 42' Fountian with Yanmars 440's and a 39' MTI cat with the Yanmars. If you think it would work on the larger motors. I am in the Delray Beach area, when you want to try the larger motors. Bill Mazzoni

Bill-

Thanks for the option of using your boats. For right now I am going to find something n the lower HP ranges to make sure all the bugs are worked out of the system. Then after a few months of testing I will be ready for engines producing up to 500HP. I should have product ready by the time the Miami Boat Show is upon us.

Thanks Again
Don

TopSpin I only have one picture of the transom, the boat ran 92 on the first set of props. Just got 2 more sets to test in the next week or so should run just over 100 when I am done. Then I am going to sell it. Bill
