California Delta Question
 

Anyone have a website or info for the place called "The Island"? I know where Lost Isle is but I heard someone talking about The Island. Any help is appreciated. Oh yeah, I'm looking to go tomorrow so the sooner you can help the better. Sorry about the short notice. Thanks. :drink: :drink:

Ski Beach is outside of Discovery Bay at the east end of Woodward

Never heard of "The Island". They were probably referring to Lost Isle using a term of familiarity to them.

They may have been referring to Bethel Island. There are so many islands out there.... Ski beach is just south east of Disco Bay up the end of Twin slough Just follow the ski boats.

The place they called the Island is actually the Orwood Resort, finally found that out. Guess it gets pretty crazy there too.

Orwood gets crazy!?!?! That's news to me, but ok. Only during the Sat or Sun afternoon pullout. They used to have bleachers next to the ramp where people would sit, drink and heckle the chuckies trying to load up. That was before they put new extra wide ramps in.

Nice, someone said something about bikini contests on the weekends. News to me too. I thought most of that was at Lost Isle.
