Re: What 28 ft off-shore boat compares?
I need a project. No engine or drive, etc. I cant afford a nice one already done. I like to do the work myself anyway. Thats the only way I can play. Bruces Pantera is awsome but I really need a pleasure version and not ready to buy yet. If he has it when I'm ready I will look at it. I'm looking to do something in the winter. I have 2 boat to sell myself! I'm just looking for more options. I like that Saber! I never seen one before. I'm not looking for any Fountains, Formulas, Bajas or Checkmates. All great boats but I'm looking for something different. Dont laugh but my price range would be between $10,000 and $20,000 tops. I know this will be hard but if there is a will there is a way. Thanks guys keep the boats ideas coming!

How about this...
1988 CIGARETTE CAFE RCR for $28,900
The price is so low that there must be a catch.
Good luck!

I would like to get the boat for the above amount. Then work from there. I can do all the work myself including custom painting and rigging. I just need a haul with as much stuff on it as I can get. I dont want a twin engine boat. I had a Custom 30ft Scarab before. Its just to much boat for me. I turned down a 89 33 Fountain with blowers that needed tlc for get this $21,000. I just dont want something that size.
