What 28 ft off-shore boat compares?

What 28 ft off-shore boat compares?
I'm thinking about a another boat project this winter. I would love to get a 28 Pantera!!! I haven't found any that I can afford. What other boats come close to the pantera's performance??? I did the Bajas and Checkmates. I'm looking for a true 28 ft off-shore boat with a single engine. What other boats out there stack up?

I know of two 28' Pantera boats for sale at a cheap price, mine 1999 47k ready to run, and Bruce Seroff's1996 28' less motor and drive around 25k.
