Default Domestic oil companies

I wanted to post something for you but with a disclaimer of it not being verified, maybe one of you can for me. This was part of an email I recieved from my sister today.

Just so we're all clear, these oil companies still aren't "domestic" they all get the vast majority of their oil from somewhere international, mexico, venezuela, russia, iran, you name it, might not be saudi/or middle eastern, but they're not domestic either.

I understand what you are trying to say, I knew BP was British petroleum etc etc..... maybe domestic was a poor choice of words when i really meant non -arab

I think some of this data is dated since i believe BP/Phillips and Amaco are one and the same now.....

I've read this before, but I think it was said that all the non importing companies could not provide our needs by themselves.
