Downtown, Hp...you guys still on the face of the earth? The Weather channel just showed your house with a big ol' rotating circle highlighting it. :eek:

yep. Good thing I pulled the boat out of Pewaukee this morning. HP500 stopped down last night.

Still alive :). Most of the storm was just South of me..DT42 was more in the path. I heard this morning that the Tornado through Stougton was an F4...one dead many injured etc.

From what the news is saying this morning it was actually several tornados. I was talking to some relatives out in Fort Akinson and they said there were several funnel clouds, but non were on the ground at the time. I could see the storm from up here. The sky was mostly clear and the clouds would light up with the lightning. That was pretty cool.

It was a crazy night around here last night. The one in Stoughton was pretty bad...meteorologists are saying it was an F4 or maybe even F5...the test they had was to look at trees in the area...if the bark was torn from the trees it was an F5...cameraman on the scene zoomed to a tree with no bark. Real nice neighborhood in northern Stoughton was hit the worst...$750K and up homes destroyed...sounds like around 80 homes or so. The pictures of the wall cloud are awesome. I'll see if I can find some online.

Do post some pics. The only ones I've seen so far were off some guys camera phone. The funnel looked pretty big though. A guy in our office lives in Madison. Said he knew it was going to be bad when he was traveling west on I-94 and had cornstalks falling on the road like hail.

holy balls....I should have paid more attension when the tornado warnings were on tv. I ck'd the internet radar and it did clear me. No hurricanes here but 2 tornado's in 1987-1989 wiped out the woods next to my lot and several homes. Now the drug dealer lives next to me where he has no woods.



Owns a pharmacy by the zoo. I got the weather channel on now, I'll be more prepared this time.

I did not build till 1991 so I wasn't around.

There will be alot of heart ache this morning to our WI neighbors. :(
