LOTO Shootout Participants Please Read!
 

Hi All.

I am assisting KRMS Radio at the lake with the color comments for the shootout this year along with Courtney with Powerboat and the usual crew.

If you are going to be participating in the event I would love to know more about you and your boat. I am not 100% sure how much airtime I will get but the more I can know about you and your boat the more I might be able to interject and or pass along and I know the more comfortable I will be! I figure my roll to be somewhat limited the first year but I want to help make the event better and bring more info about the boats and the racers!!

I don't care if it's a 23 foot bass boat or Kilo Kat, I want to know your story!

Very excited but nervous as this is my first radio gig so please share some info and if you know people that are participating but do not frequent the boards please have them drop me an e-mail at [email protected] .

Please feel free to e-mail the info to me rather than post it, I will be able to recieve info up until thursday night at 5pm.

(ie Bacardi Silver was just in Miami filming with the new Miami Vice Movie)

Exellent idea Mike :D

knowledge leaves something to
be desired.

Just a note of thanks to all that participated this year, it was a lot of fun for me to help out and I met some great people as usual. Glad it was a safe event and hope to see everyone back next year!

Shoulda checked out this thread before...I didn't know it was you up there dude! I was with the silver and blue 1979 Scarab nicknamed "The Barge." The guy that owns the boat said he had emailed his info to the announcer...at about the same time I was PMing you on MWBP lookin' for a ride...had no idea we were talking to the same guy!! :D You did a great job...we could tell it was someone who knew what they were talking about anyway! Now get that Cig running, you've still got a summer left down there! I will soooo be back next year with the red boat, looking forward to running with you again!

Thanks Steve, I had so much fun! One of the top 4 or 5 things I have done in my life. Mets some very nice people too!

Mike, the good thing is we had the info and I tried to use you as an example as why the race should continue to have a grassroots flavor! Thanks for the kind words too!

Paint is done on the cig, just needs an interior and motors :rolleyes:

VB, Great job at LOTO. We had a great time and we'll be back. Osage Beach, the people, the venue, the volunteers, all top knotch.
I had such a great time in LOTO, I brought home a real estate guide

Great to meet you Scott, wish we would have had more time to talk, about Panteras, if you need a real estate agent there I know a few :)

The whole AMF team was great, you guys had a huge crowd around the boat Sunday. Next time make sure you bring her over both days! Good luck with the rest of your year.
