Hey travis i wonder if you could tell me what oil pan to order for a stock 260 that is rusted out that i am helping a friend replace.I was thinking of ordering it from summit unless you know of someone else. thanks

how old is the the 260.. i think 86 and up were one piece rear main seals, different oil pan then the older motors. check ebay there should be a few on there. I bought mine from champ pans. had a few special baffles and a windage tray I think was around $200, 7 qt pan. Merc gets about $195 for a new replacment

no sled shoppin.. my is still wreaked sitting in the shop. don't know if I am going to fix and ride or just fix and sell.. if I buy boat before winter I will not ride.. cause concrete work during the winter is slow and will need to pay for boat instead..

cool. This challenger is very tempting. I am going to talk to a few of my banks and the insurance people this week, to see what they wil give me and how high my insurance will be for a boat in the 28 ft range. if all goes well I might be over to take a look at it in a few weeks or so..

Hey Travis ,thanks for the info on the oil pan.
By the way i think your crazy getiing a new twin engine big block boat,you will have to sell your powerplay just to pay for one summer of gas
