If the superboat deck hasn't changed since the TRS days, then I would guess it's bow might be shorter because of a longer engine compartment to accomodate the TRS/trans combo.............?? Don't go by pictures......my 24 Excalibur bow looked nice and long at some angles, and short as hell in others..........

Superboat, Pantera, Sunsation (Rocket and Agressor), Prowler, Martini, Profile, and others. The basic hull design was classic, and remains classic. The variations were in construction and the deck really changed the overall appearance of the total boat as shown in the pictures.

OK Commanche, I stand corrected, according to the Cigarette Firefox Specifications Sheet Dated 6/1/86 that boat had a 7' 4.5" beam. Whenever I think of the 24 Cigarette, I think of the one that from what I've read, had its mold sold to Banana in the 1970's. What's the beam on that one? Is it the same hull as the Firefox? As for the Pantera, it's fore deck is longer than the Superboat. You end up with a smaller cockpit, but get a great looking long bow. They did make another version that had a peaked windshield and a bigger cockpit.

Corsa Quest, I'm curious.
Is your OSO 'handle' based on Corsa the boat manufacturer, and did they produce a model by the name of 'Quest'?

Anyone have old pics/specs of the Cigarette 24' that they could post? How about the Magnum 24'? (if there was one...I know they had a 27'.)

Nope, Corsa never produced anything called the quest...I was more referring to my quest to find one set up as I wanted. I have always been a big fan of the 1980 and on 26 because of the big strakes and slightly deeper than usual V. My personal quest for one is over, but it's still fun to pop in here and see what everyone is up to.
