Default 4" Exhaust Rubber 90 Degree Elbows

A couple folks have installed these on their boats to send extend the exhaust note under the water when the boat is off plane. I would like to invest in 4 of them. Does anyone have a known place to obtain them? I know some truck stops have them, but I live in a metropolitan area, without too many truckstops. Thanks in advance.

Sure I got what Ya need !!!

Call Northwest filter at 877-633-7100

Order 4 of part number P105533 Elbows
Order 4 of part number P148343 Clamps

I ordered them for my 36 Outlaw. They do work at helping to reduce the sound level but unfortunately I have a high freeboard boat and they do not go below the water. I would need to add extensions to make that happen.

If needed I can measure them out tonight and tell you how far they do go down.

Smitty, I would love to know what the square dimension of them would be. Thank you so much.

here is a link to another online store

http://shop.airflowonline.com

go to "Rubber Hoses and Clamps"

I installed on my 29 ft Fountain with a single 575 SCi -- went to a voluntary workshop with our local Sheriff and State Troopers to give them some exhaust dB readings -- read 87 actual dB with the rubber mufflers just barely submerged under water.

Or go with an OSO advertiser. Look for Power Curves.

I don't have room for the SS ones from Gibson or others. My hydraulic steering rams are too close to the outer tips. It would have to be the rubber elbows. Unfortunately, with the recent events in the Virginia boating community, I know we are going to be scrutinized. I want to make myself as incognito as possible.

I am going to pick up some of these:

And some rubber exhaust elbows as soon as I find out which ones will work best.

Brian,

The square dimension is eight inches. I see in your pic that your tips are angled downward a bit. Mine are straight so it was a qiuck bolt on job. You will have to cut the elbows at an angle so that they will dump straight down. Oh yeah the whole deal cost me around 95.00 w/shipping to Chicago.

Good Luck
