World's largest Bass Tounament at Night
Starts at 6 PM tonite on our lake,runs till 6AM Sunday. 500 boats,most of them capable of 70+ mph,many at 80+ and 90+,I know of at least 3 over 100 mph. This is the 25th year with no major accidents,cross your fingers as the moon is normally full during the tournament,but they may have been a week off this year. I will leave the lights on in my boathouse and hope for the best. I will NOT be on the lake tonight.

Way to dangerous, I hope everyone has common sense, NO ALCOHOL, then we wonder why our insurance goes up every year. Jeff

To their credit, no alcohol allowed,all boats are checked before launch. Life vests required while underway. Been watching them go by now,looks pretty safe even tho some of these bass boats are smoking! Maybe there is a lesson here?

looks pretty safe even tho some of these bass boats are smoking! Maybe there is a lesson here?
