Re: So you like stainless steel eh?...
The finish is nice, but they kind of look cheap, like bennett trim tabs. Sorry, I tell it like I see it :D

EDIT- I should go on to say that the tab fasteners are 5/16" x 4" bolts (x4) and 5/16" x 1 1/2" (x8) stainless 'lag' screws. |

Semper, I'm wondering if you're just used to the plethora of aluminum trim tabs (read: bulky/beefy looking, for lack of a better term :D ) on the market or the grandaddy of them all...the K plane. Remember, to achieve the same strength of steel, one has to (roughly) triple the material thickness (in aluminum) while working with the same basic design. Here's a few snaps of the 'raw' stainless tabs' brother. Same basic design with a few styling twists. :drink: I feel the pictures I took yesterday may not be doing the product justice. Afterall, the 23" Victorys are spec'd for nothing BUT high performance boats! :drink: Brian |
