What are the different class designations? How would I find out which class I would run in with my boat?

go to www.lakeshootout.com and click on results and then classes..... goes by length, hull design, number of engines and modification of engine....

would the mercury 525 efi be considered modified class?

It should be, but actually, they were putting them
in the " FP" class, which is where they were putting
the old 525SC's last year.

I suppose it's a compareable horsepower thing.

This year, they created a class for the 575 and
600's called " SP"

I would think that the HP500, 500EFI, and The 525EFI
should all be "F"

And that the 525SC, the 575SCi, 600SC, and 600SCi
should all be "FP" ( power added, supercharged)

But I don't make the rules :D

Yea that other Outerlimits was giving us a run for the money thats for sure with the sterlings 1 mph apart

2 51 ft 18k lb sleds running at 121 and 122 is pretty impressive
I know we were still accelerating and ran out of real estate
I'm sure Rusty was too. It was a great battle and I had a blast
