I am going to change the benificiary of my Columbus Day Poker Run on Lake george to include this fund. Last year we donated $2800.00 to send a handicaped child to summer camp. Hopefully we can top that total and help out our OSO familys in need
Check out my thread in the Poker Runs section for more info

Mailed $200.00 today. The Nashville contingent is organizing a chlothes drive for Eddie Young and family from TMP. We are going to UPS to to his G/F and son in AL early next week and try to send a tractor trailer load to Slidell in about 10 days.

Re: Trust Fund For OSO Huricane Victims
Not to take anything away from this fund, but there is another fund that also needs our attention. I am the worlds biggest animal love (remember my adopted pig). When I see them showing all the poor hurt animals starving from the disaster, I have to change the channel. They showed some horses on tv and they said flat out (they are going to die from starvation) due to the fact people come first. My Girlfriends sister is an Army reserve. She has been stationed at the dome, directing people on to the busses. She said many of the people getting on the busses have pets with them. The authority's are ordered to take the animals from the people and put them in this big room where no one is caring for them. I couldn't imagine having to leave my 2 dogs. I couldn't do it. There is an organization going to save these animals. They have a list of stuff they need and of coarse cash. Maybe I shouldn't be listing this on this post but I feel it's also important. It's been raining down here in Florida he last 2 days and all i've been doing is watching this stuff. It's heart breaking!
