Signature Boats Production Questions
Offshore historians, JAdams and whomever else that could help:
What was the first model year Signature 27' & Signature 24' built? 1976 or 1977? Do you know for sure? Do you have any pics of the 24 foot boat that you could post? I didn't know that Signature even made a 24 footer until I enlarged a pic of the 27' "Sig" boat "Cottonmouth" and the text became large enough to read a model listing that was on the page.
I am trying to determine if the 24' or 27' Signature is actually the predecessor of the Carrera SS7M or not.

Re: Signature Boats Production Questions
I often wondered which one was first also (with regards to the similar deck)? 24 carrera or 27 signature. There was the old "LADY L" boat (27/28 signature) for sale on trader online at one time, might still be there. Speaking of 24 Carreras...Did you see the one in OSO classifieds? It looks pretty nice...except for the price.

Lucky Strike,
If the Signature 27' was originally a Magnum hull, then would it have a 7 or 8 foot beam??
NickK,
Yeah, I saw the SS7M in the classifieds...beautiful boat!! If I could afford it...I would be all over it!!

Re: Signature Boats Production Questions
THANKS "L.S."! Someone here told me that some of the earliest (late '60s Magnums) had 7' beams.
Nick, I saw the "LADY L"...it is still on boat trader.
Was this boat called the "LADY L" since it was built new in the '70s...always a race boat?? I noticed it has a side to side bench seat up front...like most offshore boats would have in the back...not a stand up triple racing bolster. Why??
