Fever Mike started a post about this organization earlier but I lost the thread. Check out www.noahswish.com They are in NO to rescue abandonded pets and it looks like they are doing a great job and need our support. I sent a donation last weekend. Check them out. Robert

Just did it. Yesterday was Julie's (my wife) birthday and she insiited that we send $$ to Noahswish and Salvation Army instead of gifts for her.

With all the "discussion" and contraversery of the people involded I am glad the OSO have not forgotten about the truly inocent victums of the storm..the animals. I knew better than to look at the video and pic on the website, Julie cried her eys out.

Only a piece of crap would leave there pet...but thats what is there for the most part as usual!

A lot of folks are boarding busses arent allowed to bring a pet. They have a clip going around of a boy at the astrodome boarding a bus, and hes crying so hard the throws up because his dog snowball is being held behind. that was hitting the news the other day. there is a website where they think they have the dog, and are trying to find the kid. Cant find it right now.

Granted, Oprah is milking this for ratings, but there are people who lost everything, but saved their animals, are finding out that they have to give them up. My company lost 4 branch offices, and we have about 160 displaced workers (im involved in the relocations for them) and there is more than 1 story like this in my small group. We are making every effort to help our employees and their pets.
