"BAD BOY POWERBOATS"
I think these guys are from my home state of NJ. Does anyone know anything about them?? Where are they located? Do they design/build their own boats and/or customize/modify other manufacturers' race/production boats?? Any photos of their creations??
I saw a one off custom 24' Superboat (from the Westville/Woodbury area??) by them in the Big Timber Creek headed towards the Delaware...P class racer I think. I would like to get more info. on it and would love to see some pics if anyone has them and wouldn't mind showing them here.

Nice boat...that's definitely one of them!! I think I saw that one at Kurt's Marine. Is that their design or a Cigarette/Apache customized?? I see it says "LT-38" near the engine hatch vents. Is that short for "Limited Edition 38 footer"??

Right now, Bad Boys has a 32' Vee, a 30' Cat, a 38 Vee and a 38' Super Vee with canopy. You can contact Kurt about these boats.

HiPerf2000,
Was that shot taken at last October's race in Philly? I missed that one...but hopefully not this year!! I figured they (Bad Boys) might have redone an old Cigarette...close enough! Did they get the mold from Wellcraft since they (Scarabs) are not being made anymore...or is Wellcraft holding on to them to someday make a comeback??
Russ G,
My dad has a Baja Sport 270 with a Sonic-like (reversed/forward angle) radar arch with a 540. Hasn't been used in awhile but ran in the 80mph+ range...was one of the hottest single engine boats in the river at that time. I plan on getting a boat. I presently have 2 PWCs...a Kawasaki Ultra 150 (2000) and a Sea Doo RXP (2004). We are in the Delanco, NJ area just north of the Rancocas Creek.

I'm not sure of the whole story on the molds, but i did find out it was from a scarab.

Re: "BAD BOY POWERBOATS"
I will try to be there! Your Sonic is one of the nicest boats here on the river.
I'm sure you know about the 2 up at the Edgely Boat Club near the T.T. Cove. One's a 31' I think (I thought it was yours when I first saw it...similar colors) and the other is an older one...late '80s 38' or 41' (black, white, silver and red)
