I'm looking to buy a used boat the seller says its a 26 1/2
foot larson/scarab its a step hull 420 hp sm block chevy
any heard of the before it looks like a scarab front but a
larson back year is around 1990 any info would be greatly
appreciated

1990- 1992 Senza Spectre, 25' Came stock w/ single 260 HP Merc.
Pretty sure it had the Duo Delta Conic hull (One giant step)

Sounds like the seller is a bit uninformed.

thats what I have 70.6mph gps

never came in a twin version

had a 350 mag alpha when I started and with a labbed prop
was able to see 52-53 gps

i made some more calls its a senza spectre 25 ft
are these a decent boat anything to look out for

I took mine to GLHs poker run last summer 04 and put it thru 6 footers for about 10 miles
and I dont see any stress cracks.
