2 Attachment(s)
We were out in the middle of our reservoir sipping on a few koolaids :drink: and this flew over us  It must of been only flying about 100mph. It was hard to believe it was flying so slow .It must of landed at our air guard base and I figure it was heading to the coast for the Hurricane relief ?

Looks big

Saw it on TV. It is made by AirBus, and is the largest commercial airplane in existance/operation. Its called the Beluga, and has more cargo capacity than a C5 Galaxy.

My ex's Dad is now the CEO of North American Operations for AirBus.

It's cool to see all to that info in one place. The media has not done a very good job of informing us as to what is being done by the res of the world to help out.

The Bananas do seem a little strange when you look at everything else on that list.

That plane is used to haul completed sections of aircraft from subcontractors to the main assembly point.
NASA had a similar plane, the Pregnant Guppy, to haul space capsules, rocket sections and aircraft.

I guess they are using it to haul relief supplies.

if there is a shread of truth to the country list of donations I applaud them and say its about damn time they send the USA somthing.

However, I would like to know if we received 500Million in oil and gas why are we still paying MORE for gas then before this tragedy?

Re: Boating on 9-11. What is this??

Kuwait obviously remembers who pulled their bacon out of the fire in 1991. Gas prices are up due to refining bottlenecks, not necessarily crude oil supply. At any rate, inflation-compensated gas prices (from the 70's) should be around $3.21 a gallon anyway...

Anyway - Hope these countries really are offering what they say.

The list of donations is very impressive. It's nice to see other countries think of us in our time of need. :)
