Thanks for all the advice. The dealer who sold us the boat is throwing in a full cover with our specs. They use Total Canvas and that is who will be making it. Total also did the cockpit cover on our Checkmate.

Total Canvas did a full cover for my '03 '27 Fountain. Went all the way down the sides past the bottom of the hull. Was a GREAT cover, charged me LESS than he quoted and had it done EARLY. Great Co. to deal with. Sorry, but don't have any pics. Recently had a similar cover made for my '00 '38 Fountain by another cover manufacturer (Total Canvas couldn't find a comparable '38 for measurements). Made well, but doesn't fit nearly as good as the one Total Canvas did. Just my experience.

Here are two pics of the travel/storage cover we had made for our Top Gun (owned by Lucky Strike now). The cover was made by a local company here in Ocean City called Canvas Experts. Like the cover that is on Griff's Pantera, the back of this one is also secured using the same fasteners that the cockpit cover uses and then the sides are pulled tight with straps across the back. If you are going to travel with the cover on, make sure that it is skin tight so that it will not flap in the wind and tear up your paint. Another thing to consider is having the cover wrap under the hull at the bow to take care of the bug splats and road grime/chips.
These guys at Canvas Experts have made covers for me for several boats and they have all been great! I'll post some of the others below.
