My boat is owned by a Corporation in the state of Del and registered under that corp. (I own that corp....) Since I keep the boat at my home I don't have a marina owner reporting it as kept in my hometown 365 days a year. Here's is a link to the 3rd party Co. that set everything up for me and they maintain my corporate status as well as provide me with all the registration work I need as well. They have been very honest and helpful over the years.

Yes, Blaggo at his best.....looking out for the little guy! Tax on tax on whatever the hard working class does. He sure changed his tune after he was elected. Typical. Make sure we all remember that and vote him OUT. Time for a big change for IL....vote republican.

Ill. republicans haven't been doin to well lately either. Goerge's trial starts when, next week. I would say through them all out. But then, I'm from Indiana, we've always had that tax. get it Coast Guard Documented. Then you save sales tax in every state. Cost me a couple hundred to get it documented and renew every year for free.

Re: illinois no longer tax free

it is documented, but still have to pay the sales tax when you register it with what ever state

No you don't have to pay sales tax. At least not in Indiana. I still have to pay a small regestration fee each year, but never paid any sales tax.

Maybe Ill. got you there to.
