Escrow account for International sales
 

I may be sending a boat to Belguim. It is legit,not an internet scam we see so much of. I can get the shipping arranged by Formula's former shipper to Europe,but wondering about payment. Boattrader.com suggests a company called Escrow.com to handle everything for about $200. They get the buyer's money and upon delivery they send me the money. Belgium is a long way from Jasper,Al. Is this a good choice or are there better ways?

Good point. Many years ago I bought a Pantera(the car,not the boat) and they wanted it paid in full by wire before it was loaded on the truck. I didn't mind back then,seemed reasonable to me. I will proceed that way. Thanks.
