Strip, I may take you up on a place to stay for a night. I have a load of furniture to bring down to Eddie when he secures a house. How far north do you have to go from slidell to find a room?

There telling me there full even north of me ?.Save the money, You are welcome to stay with us ,We have plenty of room.Come on we might even get one of the cars out and make some noise . Slidell is about 2.45mn from me .If Eddie is in Batonrouge its on the other side down I-55.Prob about 4- 4 1/2 hours from me on regular traffic.

Thank you. I still don't know if Eddie has secured a place. I talked to Steve a few days ago and he said he may have a house out by him??? I keep trying to call and I either get a fast busy or straight to VM on those Nextel phones.

Just got back from my trip to TMP in Ponchatoula LA. TMP should be up and running soon. I will be taking my boat down for winter maintenance late OCT. or early NOV. Joe Murray

keep trying, cell service in this area really sucks. i was helping them move boats saturday & his cell wouldn't work.

rob the tickfaw will have some new sites for 2006. yeagers
has major damage the chicken drop has some really sturdy looking pilings but thats all. there are no more houses on the canal that the chicken drop was on. the fuel dock in manchac pass was destroyed. t rivers was heavily damaged. on the bright side i heard the propstop & sunbuns are still there.

I plan on running the Tickfaw in May. Rob, Keep me posted on the dates. Getting a hotel room in Hammond might be tough even in May.

vette131 Yea I saw the pick of The Dock and Yeagers, Pretty sad site :( You know they were trying to have another Royal Purple poker run Oct 1 at Tick Faw and its the Prop Stops 30th anniversary also.

Yea this 2006 TickFaw 200 will be different for sure . There is now way of knowing whats going to know whats out in the lake :eek:
