Clearwater/ St Pete Boating
 

Anyone going boating in that area Sunday. We normally go to Shell Island but Red Tide was so bad last week end, that we want to head North.

See if Johno's going out. He goes out nearly every weekend. I think he's been going north somewhere to eat lately.

If you are headed North, you have to stop & eat lunch at The Island Way Grill. $20 for probably the best Buffet in Fl. Docks are brand new. Jimmy Iguana's seems to be the happening place lately at Hamlins Landing. Lately the food at The Pub sucks.
We will probably go south to Passage Key as the weather has been awesome lately.
Don't forget OPBA's fun Run next weekend to Tampa.

It's the nekkid island located south of Egmont, just north of Anna Maria Island. Not that we've ever been there. :p :drink:

Where is Hamlins Landing? Is that by the Holiday Inn and a steak place I can'remember the name of South of CLWR but north of the Pub? Any red tide reports from today..want to get out tomorrow.

Hamlins is down through the narrows at Indian Rocks Beach. Just south of the Bellair Beach Causeway on the Intercoastal. Can't miss it 'cause it's all "no Wake". We will be out Sunday morning probably around Clearwater Beach to Three Rookers. Dave

Looks like we are going to put in at Belair and head north to 2 Rooker.

It's the first island south of Anclote Key. Anclote is easy to spot, it's the one with the lighthouse.

So where was everyone ???? We cruzed Clwr. Beach, Intercoatsal, Three Rooker's etc. Did not go down through the narrows tho. Dave

We went Riviera Dunes for lunch & then to Passage Key.
We will do a trip up to 3 Rookers soon.

Anyone here that had the red,white and blue flag design Scarab CC at Clwr. Beach? Beautifl day but FLAT water. (Hey, what's this Activator guy doing in my boat !!!!) :D Dave

Dave,

We were out at 3 Rooker yesterday. We took the 15 Whaler and Virginia was able to crutch her way up the beach. It was good to get her out on the water. I was anchored on the south west side next to a 36 Concept. I was looking for your boat.

We were out early around 9:00 (Al had to catch a plane in Sarasota at 3:00) then I came back out and ran until around 12:00.....had to go in and watch my Buc's play !!!!! Glad Viginia made it out and she is feeling better. Dave

None you guys doing the Fun Run with OPBA. How's Anclote/ Rooker been holding up with all the Storms lately?
Passage Key at Tampa Bay mouth has almost been washed away.

3 Rookers has changed into 3 or 4 islands and the south east tip is submerged. Hang wide when going around that tip. Dave
