Headed from DC to New Orleans Tuesday. Anyone need anything down there????
or transported from up here? Headed doown to clean my Mom's two houses out and remove her dearly departed pets :( ... What a crappy phukin reason to go but must be done. She had over 7 feet of water in both places and didn't leave until the last minute so it is all gone. I just hope the looters left her alone.

What part of NO are you going to? Might see if you could stop by my place in Lakeview.

We are headed into Lakeview. Canal Blvd is dry north of 610. We know quite a few folks that have gotten into Lakeview so far, Looked at the flood map and it shows only about 2 feet of water on Harrison betweeN West End Blvd and Canal Blvd (Sunday update). I wanted to see if the Excursion 'll swim anyway. Looks like we'll wait til thursday to see what Rita has planned....Brad feel free to call my cell 202-251-9016. My mom has a place on Canal and another on Memphis. Here is a link if you want to see what to expect after 7+ feet of water in the house: http://www.kodakgallery.com/ShareLan...0_344550297205
