how can you see who owns a boat if all you have is the registration #s, it a florida boat

You could probably call Fl DMV & they may be able to help. Most of that info is public. There is a search

I've tried, they cant give personal info out. They can tell you if it has a lean on it or about the boat though.

What was the name on the transom if it is Coast Guard Documented you can get all the information...

Most states allow you to fill out a form and you can get information for a slight fee. Some states will give you a phone number but no address or vis versa.

That good stuff, but it says that the database is only current as of Decemeber 4, 2004 :rolleyes: :confused: :confused: I am not in there and I USCG registered December '05 :( Maybe a good thing???!
