Re: Hurricane Rita
Get the boat inside and get your butt out of there, screw work, this is a force you cannot predict or avoid at the last minute so prepare now or face the concequences. Any employer who says otherwise is a criminal.

Re: Hurricane Rita
Can we make a list of the OSO family in the area so we can have a check list so we know that everyone is OK

Re: Hurricane Rita
spk1,
do not underestimate what this storm can do....I've been through a Cat 5 and you are helpless in the storm. Get your family out of there. I am hearing on the news that hotel rooms are becomeing extremely hard to find in the areas outside the path of the storm. If you cannot get the boat inside somewhere, tie it down best you can, let air out of tires and fill up with water. Forget about work....get your family out of there NOW. Good luck to everyone in its path |

At the moment I am thinking to just cross my fingers and hope for the best. Im Right on the ship channel in Pasadena , anybody have any good advice or experience as far as what I should do about now? Besides watch the news and hope it makes a turn.
