Camden, Philly & the entire Delaware Valley area needs something good like this in the area...I know I do too!!

I really hope this race turns out to be a long running annual event.

It's too bad the Philly Poker Run didn't work out. (Who knows, maybe someday in the future they could try that again)

Anyone remember the "River Spectacular" hydroplane race in Philly back in 1987??

Sure, I was there. Too bad they didn't run because it was too rough.

8 boats in the pits tonight including one SOB.

I was in Philly in '87 with the Bullet 130. I had a 4 cyl 75hp.
I got suckered in by the Pa Fish and Game on how much they liked the boat until the coversation turned to asking me for my registration! :eek:
They wrote me a $100.00 ticket that had to be paid on the spot for over powering my boat. :mad:
The Poker Run I was at in 2001, the same thing. I was pulled over by 3 of them. 2 wanted to hang me until finally I guess the superior officer gave me guidance up the river and let me go.... :drink:
