Post Baja is going to teach Skater how to build boats !

Just kidding ! But in the artical in Power boat ,they are joining to build a 39' V hull for Factory 2 racing !

Yep! Was at the Baja dealer last weekend talking to the owner. Seems he is somehow involved as he has the blueprints, unless they hand them out to all Baja dealers.

Yeah well doesn't Craig Berry , The former president of cigarette, have something to do with Skater now ?

From what I know Skater did build a boat for Cigarette. Super V class SBI Rio Roses was laid up at Skater I do believe.

Isn't it interesting that all these manufacturers want to team up with Skater....Tells you something, doesn't it....

No. The Velocity 39 qualifies for F2 racing.

I read that Peter Hledin designed the bottom fo the 46 Rough Rider Cigarette and then laid up the first hull based on the design, which became the Rio Roses Super-V boat. But, it isn't that surprising considering how many boats Skater has laid up using other manufacturer's molds. They have done a number of Fountain and have done work for other companies from time-to-time.
