The crash was real. The guy who owns it is a joke and is going to screw up the whole lake for everyone else who boats responsibly. 145 with 8 people in a Skater?? Yeah, not so smart. He was on the news back in July because he got a ticket for blowing by a MCSO (sheriff) boat at around 120 mph at a distance of about 100' according to the officer, who was pulled over writing a ticket to another boater. Yeah, those boats ended up banging together like no tomorrow. Then he went on the news crying about it. Took a reporter and camera man for a 130+ mph blast, and from what I saw, they weren't amused. Oh, and the following weekend, every other boat on the lake was a cop or a news crew. I still go to the gas station and am asked if I'm one of those "speeding dangerous" boats that hang out on Lake Pleasant. He's a great asset to the boating community for sure.

If you step up to a membership you can see the pictures of the boat on it's back.

A LITTLE EXAGERATION OR WHAT?

I WOULD THINK THE WAKE WOULD BE MINIMAL AT THIS SPEED

I'm going off what the sheriff's officer said in the interview. Minimal wake or not, 120+ mph pass within 100' of a LEO boat??? C'mon. Reckless operation? I think so. Follow that up by a barrel roll shortly after doing 145 with 8 people in the boat. Yeah. I rest my case.

The guy is a wreck looking for a place to happen. Thankfully nobody was injured or killed this time.
