I'm planning on Memorial day and the shootout if it doesn't conflict with other races.

OK, Miss Amy or ?? please give me some details.

Is this a "bring the kids event? or not?

Do you normally launch your boat daily (sleep on land, hotel?) or keep the boat in the water at night and still find lodging on land?

When to When (Fri-Mon)?

And as Cord and Mrs Cord (hi guys) said, what about lodging? I would be more inclinded to launch daily and find a hotel within a short distance.

My middle sons birthday is the same weekend as Memorial Day so we need to know some additional info before deciding.

Thanks

Jeff

Hey Troutly, LOTO is a puddle in the middle of Missouri. Get a map, I think you can find it....

Twright, You're going and thats final!!! Race smace....you never win anyway!! LOL!!!

Cord/Mrs.....some of the hotels will let you keep your boat on the trailer. You'd have to ask em first. As for our pad, It's pretty full.

HP500: Some of the marinas have transient(sp?) slips for overnight rental. I believe Glen Cove, the formula dealer recently bought a second marina near the dam for this purpose. Party cove is roughly 20 miles by water from the dam, so keep that in mind. There should be others, but I don't know them. How bout some help i.d.ing them, LOTO boaters?

The state park has nice docks that you can rent out. They have power and there is also a nice ramp there too. It is within a mile to PC also. I think it costs like $15 a night. I could be wrong though. Reserve early, they tend to fill up fast on holiday weekends.
