Re: Monza 24'
Yea.. I'm pumped up about getting this bad boy ready for next summer.
Keeping it simple with power for right now, small block and alpha. But I'm gonna talk to Mesa and see if he'll warm it over just a bit. |
Re: Monza 24'
alpha one  i hope ya don't warm it up at all but good luck with it all i know is that boat is worth to throw money in to it there bad ass

Re: Monza 24'
If I keep power at 325-350hp max I should be ok. But I agree a nice BRAVO and a N/A 540 would be my choice.

Re: Monza 24'
I think my nephew is known on the board as Monza24SS, but not sure. He doesn't post often but does check in often. Think hes out of town for a few days and back by next week.
His boat has been completely redone and runs solidly mid to upper 80's with blower power. Good luck. |
Re: Monza 24'
There was awhite Monza on Boat trader recently, down in La. needed power.
For what you'll lose on the small block alfa package, new ezhaust, brackets etc, you may want to just start with a mild Big block and decent used Bravo I may be able to do a seasoned GM block 496 for pretty cheap. Email me if interested. shipping is cheap. Mesa is a great outfit also I would never mind losing business to them |
Re: Monza 24'
ya know what like i said above these boats are worth pouring money into them and ya never get back what u put in to them i say go with a n/a cheif 650 and bravo :D
