Dan, I was just trying to be polite. Now that I think of it, I wish I would've socked him in the eye for Gino.

I think the deal for our Poker Run which gives every boat entered a DVD Disk with full resolution pictures of all the boats shot that day is the best deal going. You can take the disk to Walmart and have an 8X10 printed for $3.00. The disk is included in the entry fee. No additional charge for pictures.
We don't want Boat Pics getting in the way of our two birds. Tell them we have it covered and that they would be better off taking shots of the sailboats that day.

They were taking pixs of us last Saturday, 03/01/08, out on Galveston Bay. I can't wait to see what kind of scam they try to do on us. Thanks for all of the input on these guys. Might save someone a lot of money and trouble.

I sent a FAX BOMB (aka a solid BLACK piece of parer) to Tom McDermott (owner of BoatPix) fax from my laptop every night for a whole week. I faxed him 500 SOLID BLACK pages (used WINFAX - a computer program). I must have burned him for $500 in toner!
The following month it was off my credit report!

They got me last year. Me being a dumb new boat owner actually negotiated down the priceand bought some pics, but they were never sent to me until I talked to them on the phone.
A friend of mine just took all of his to Kinkos and had them scanned into digital format and sent them back. Now he has all of their pics and it only cost him the shipping to send them back.
I know of a lot more people who are doing that now.

They were out on Galveston Bay last Saturday afternoon, 03/01/08. Flew along us and took pictures for about a minute. Wish they had a better track record, they would have been some cool pix.

When I got mine last year, the lady I talked to explained it to me that there were different choppers and pilots and they all acted independantly of each other. The only common thing is the office in Florida where the billing is handled.
I would use them again, ut I would be a little more careful now that this thread is out there and I know more about the situation.
