That's what I was thinking. I know the Bravo has a effiency limit. When you reach it it will be leaving several mph on the table.

My 272 baja single runs 91.5 mph w/32 pitch labbed prop at 5800rpm's with nose cone on a bravo,only ran 87.1 with same exact setup but with spare drive with no nose cone at the same rpm's.(4.4 mph loss). Same with my 30 pitch too,lost almost 5 mph. Next season I will try a imco lower and/or a exstension box,Smitty
