Default V-hull design at 200? WHY?

After reading about Ben coming over to CIG, and a few mentions of OLD speed records, DOES ANYONE REALLY WANT TO GO 200 MPH in a mono hull? I mean, the CAT is designed for that and it is much safer and better handling at those speeds, SO WHY?

I don't think anybody wants to go 200mph in a vee bottom. Might not live to talk about it

375stinger With all due respect. It sounds as though you have never ridden in a big cat at speed. A ride may change your mind

Because cats are airplanes trying to stay in the water. V's are boats trying to get out of the water. Not even apples to apples.

Since Reggie wants to be the king of speed, makes you wonder when he will build his first production cat.

Also makes you wonder if Cigarette ever considered a cat?
