Baja, where have you been, weather is turning nice, let us know when the boat starts running to the keys, we want to go, did you get my message about the keys in July?

CigDaze 01-15-2002 03:45 PM

What's going on, Mike? How you been?
I spent last week in Ontario and it's been busy since then.

Luckily this past weekend was absolutely georgeous. We burned a tank of gas in the boat and had a good time. Great boating in January!!! :D ;) :D

I did not get your message about the keys. We had server problems last week. They assured us no e-mails would be lost, but I guess they were wrong. Re-send it...I'm interested. L8R!

Holy Chit! I know that boat!

If anybody from the Wisconsin/Michigan area remembers, several years ago there was a proposal to have a high speed ferry service between Milaukee and central Michigan. Well, we're working on the architectural plans for the project, and the boat that they are using looks EXACTLY like that one.

In fact the first proposal (turned out to be too expensive) had 4 engines and jet pumps. The current boat has been cut down and has "only" twins. It's still way cool.

Can't wait to try out that bad boy! It would be great to make the trip to KW in three hours. I also like not having to find a place to park in KW too.

CigDaze 01-15-2002 04:41 PM

Definately. It's going to be THEE way to go. Can't wait! No parking. No Driving. No hassle. Save 5 hours. Drink on the way down--on the way back. What more could you ask for. :D ;)

HydroScream 01-15-2002 04:52 PM

Tantrum 01-15-2002 05:59 PM

All I can think about are those poor manatees.
Could you imagine a ton and a half of sea cow hurling 100 ft in the air?
I know its bad taste...what can I say.

Frank Civitano 01-15-2002 06:20 PM

You guys ever been to Put In Bay, Ohio? The high speed ferries to the island resemble that one. They run 55 mph. Twin jet diesel. Throw a pretty good rooster tail too. Not as big as the one in the pictures, but very respectable. Love racing them when we go out there. And yes, I have always won!!!

KOZ MAN 01-15-2002 10:24 PM

I have to say ...
That's cool!

Can't wait to take a ride to the Keys in style.
