Looks great.
What are the details of the filming equipment?
Video Camera?
Editing Software?

I was able to view it. Nice job, it is sad to have to store the boat this weekend. Now we need to make a snowmobile one.

the camera was Brian Mccormicks Hitachi DVD disk camcorder.

the software was Pinnacle, studio 8.
a coworker helped extract the scenes from the dvd as it had a clitch in it from the rough water day. otherwise it is pretty simple to do with digital output "footage"

the software is quite easy to work with.
the dvd we wrote is super clear.

next time. more side by side shots, filter the wind noise, and some more air shots.

some fellow formula owners were curious how my modified silent thunder sounded. well...... now you know.......

my buddies laughed at some of my scenes I had in my mind. I was filming to the song in my head.... I told them to just trust me , it will turn out ( like the two tachs at a startup, and the hatch opening)

did anyone notice the birds chirping at the start and the water lapping at the end........?

I think my credit should read:

Filming while holding on for dear life: Mike Ozinga, Waterfoul

It was a lot of fun filming that video this summer/fall Rob. Thanks for the opportunity to help.

And the sunset scenes were filmed from the south pier in Holland... Rob dropped me off and I set the camera down inches from the edge (yes Brian, I made sure it couldn't fall in!) and Rob made several passes.

For those Formula owners out there, you NEED to do what Rob did to his silent blunder. His boat sounds SO MUCH better now.
