10% or a minimum, usually 3,000. Expensive if you're selling a cheaper boat. Better off with BoatTrader.

In most cases we will broker your old boat free of commission charges if your buying a "NEW" boat from us. If you back out of the "NEW" boat purchase after the sale of your old boat its 10%. It works very well for both the customer and the dealership. You get full selling price for your old boat without getting hammered on a trade in # and the new boat price is a straight up fair # without making up the difference for a high trade in # to make the deal happen. It's a WIN/WIN situation and our clients love it.

10% unless otherwise stated. Some brokers will negotiate 8% or lower if you purchase the next boat through them

I like this philosophy. Sounds like good business practices to me.

The gross commission is 10%, but the broker HIMSELF only gets what he doesn't share with the house he works for.

It even gets more confusing if the broker is selling another brokers listing from another house. The broker makes the most money when he sells his own listing.

Thank You and yes it works very well with NO CONFUSSION of a so to speak "shell game". It is very fair and really builds client loyalty. We do not co-broker either. The overall philosophy is that both parties walk away happy and feel like they were treated fairly and honestly.
