Boating good, large enough to really crank it up. Probably the most beautiful alpine lake in the US. Several public launch ramps and acouple crane drop in marinas.
Nevada side the best for coves and party areas. Water temps cold (all snow pack) but some areas warm enough to swim.
Clear water 70ft visibility.
Flat in am wind chop toward most afternoons.
If you need more info let me know.

2 ft below high water mark. You'll need mufflers on the lake. They're enforcing hard! There are good spots both North and South Lake. The Hyatt at Incline Village has a floating bar that's pretty fun to roll up to. West shore has the Sunnyside, Garrwoods, and Chambers Landing. North Shore has a bunch of stops. Nude beaches are on the East Shore. The Keys at South Lake have their own sound ordinance but I don't know much about it. South Shore has a whole bunch of stops.

It's a fun lake to boat on, the water gets pretty big! It's no Loto but worth a trip. Just use extreme caution near the shore. The lake is so clear you can't tell if you have 40ft or 2ft under you. The lake is at 6200ft so jet down 4 sizes from sea level (rule of thumb) and get some smaller wheels. I run 30's at sea level and 26' at the lake.

The Lake kicks up pretty good around 3 o'clock and sometimes doesn't settle till the next day so be prepared. My Fountain sits too low so I can't leave it on a buoy at night. That lake has claimed allot of boats at night.

Have fun!!!!

Some pics from the Sunnyside. It was calm so we left the Master Craft on the buoy against my better judgement.

These pics where taken in June so the weather was a little unpredictable. The squall is blowing over Incline Village but left us alone.

Normally a ski boat is unpracticle at this lake but this week the weather co-operated. It's a great lake for an offshore. My Fountain does great up there!

The week we took these pics it just never kicked up.

Hmm...I just logged on to post if anyone knew anything about Tahoe. I guess I found all the answers right here!

I just flew into Reno for business and thought I might drive over to the lake one afternoon. Thanks for the heads up!
