well it seems the check is in the mail, if a check does come i am going to open a new back account at a different bank than the one where i keep my accounts. if it clears i will withdraw the coin before i ship the bike. anyone see a problem with this? that is if a check does in fact come.lol
he at least didnt ask for me to send any overage to his shipper...ha ha

i go thru this all the time. i have 8-10 counterfeit checks here in the office that i've rec'd from buyers all over the globe. it may clear your acct....but 2,3,4 weeks later it'll be charged back. i always contact the bank that the check is drawn on to verify before i even depoit it. best bet is an escrow service. good luck

i turned down a check about a year ago from a buyer in RUSSIA...he actually overnighted me $8500.00 in cash ....luckily non of it was counterfeit
