Welcome to OSO. I am new to OSO as well and enjoying it. I am not new to the world of performance boating. [ first go - fast in 1990 ] I am a strong Nor Tech guy and have had Cigarette and others but I think others here can better address your question. If you want input on NT I am qualified and happy to give it.

Note to impactme Post #6 - I am on my second Nor Tech and am extremely pleased. Both have been 50 ft V. I do a lot of big water boating and this is the way to go - for me. Because they build a heavy boat, go with # 6 drives especially if you are aggressive at all. Go with their engines as well. Ron Potter builds an unbelievably strong motor. My current boat was built in 2003 and I just turned 480 hrs. today. I did my first rebuild at 350 hours which is unbelievable given the type of running I do. 12 Poker Runs a year and lots of fast cruising as well. Triple 850's that are capable of well over 900hp but detuned somewhat. I top out at 100mph and can cruise all day at 60mph @ 3200RPM - not even workin !! -Great for longevity. I feel they are priced right as well and good value for the money. Lots more I can tell but if you need more specific info feel free to contact me 519-498-6945 or [email protected]
Hope that is some help to you.
Bob
