Any and all info on this upcoming event in February I believe would be greatly appreciated, like where best to stay, best airport to fly into, where to get tickets, etc...

Re: Miami Boat Show
Runs Feb 16-20th. Boats are at two different locations, Convention Center and In water at the Marriott, I think. Best to get tickets ahead of time or passes from someone from the marine industry. You can go to either site and catch a shuttle between them. Parking is easier to find at the convention center in the high school field. Weekends are usually the most crowded, I still think they have a manufactures day prior to the show, which will have dealer prices on the boats and the crowds are way down.

Fly into Miami International Airport!
You can buy tickets at the door or get passes from someone. I'd take a cab to the show. Parking is brutal.

Re: Miami Boat Show
We used to stay at the Marriot every year, It really had alot of action back in the day, I saw reggie fountain and one of his larger boats, as well as chuck norris' scarab, There was even a single turbine powered boat, it was brown, ha I was 14 and really didnt know much about the power boats that year (1989) I am not sure how it is now, last year I went over there and the hotel did not seem as glorious as it once was, BUt if they are grilling burgers out on the dock, make sure you get one,,Dayum they were good.
P.S. I stayed at the Port of miami hotel once a couple years back, is ok for a last minute deal, not very luxurious, but close to the marriot if your on a budget.
I may be able to go to the show this year, I have business in Orlando right up untill the 15th, how lucky is that...So please let me know of what OSO functions are happenning through the show, I would love to put some faces to some of these posts.
