Default PAGING Steve David

Mr. David,

First, CONGRATULATIONS on your championship! It could not have gone to a more deserving person. I was reading the most recent edition of POWERBOAT and saw your photo. I was wondering...the clock you have on your left wrist, is that to emulate the start clock? I would then assume if this is the case it is used to prevent a "jumping the gun" situation. Thanks as always for your insightful comments.

Hi Shane
Thanks for the kind words.
The watch is made by TAG HEUER, it was known as a Yacht Timer and counts backwards beginning at 5 minutes. Prior to digital cockpit timers, and shore to cockpit communication, these watches were the hot item. They are probably now as much of a relic as I am

Thanks again Shane, take care.

MB, Though it is a relic, I still use it, old habits.....................
Hi Joe, haven't sold her yet, she's on the lift, just wash her and start the engines and generator about once per week and keep her polished hoping she'll find a new home.

Take care,

Steve
