These guys and this boat were soooooo far ahead of their time it's crazy! Simply bad-azz!!!

The Skater is housed in a shop that would equal any race shop. Not exactly hidden away in a barn but the Dubuque Iowa location is correct. This is one of my favorites boats of all time. Sure would like to see it out again. Doug

Spoke with Rodney last week. Boat is sitting in the shop, engines removed on the stands with the heads taken off for storage. It's all good.

Why is being stored with heads off? Is it not going to be used any time in the future?

You sure he said the heads off? You would only have to remove the rockers to let the valves close. Storing is engine with the heads off is a terrible idea.
. I'm certain they know what they are doing. |
The surge is from lack of a air bypass thru the rotor cavity, efi alone wont stop that on a large supercharger. Those take very little hp to spin, no rotor to rotor contact on those a980's
Hard to beat them big blowers for sound! |
