I am neither a Fountain, nor a Reggie fan, but I don't know why people go out of their way to bash him. There is no doubt he is the biggest name in offshore power boating. You have to give him credit, he has backed up what he has said.

I don't know what the rules for being qualified are now, but in the olden days you had to start two National races between April and November and you were INVITED to compete in the Worlds in Key West. Of course, back then there was only APBA and it was a much simpler time.
