Re: Prayers needed for Magnum Mark....
We spoke with Lucy last night. She told us that Mark had his best day yet yesterday. If he continues to progress he most likely will be moved out of ICU over the weekend. Let's hope so!!!! Kathy

Re: Prayers needed for Magnum Mark....
Unfortunately, Mark will probably not be home for the holidays. He will be transferred out of ICU and into room that he most likely will spend several weeks in. He is in for a total of 12 weeks of complete bedrest to try and let those fractures of his pelvis and leg heal. He will indeed be looking at alot of physical therapy once he is up and about. But to be able to be out of ICU is a HUGE step.......He is definately on the road to recovery after a few rocky weeks!!!!!!!! ..He is enjoying recieving all of your cards and letters and I will let you know when he is transferred out of ICU. He will be able to recieve flowers, balloons, etc. at that time. I am sure that will lift his spirits alot!!!!! Kathy

Darn, that is a shame. Someone with a red nose will likely visit him in the hospital though. We need to get him in shape for an offshore run to Bimini!

Re: Prayers needed for Magnum Mark....
I just got these pictures from Lucy and She said it was OK to share them with everyone here on OSO.
This is the car that Mark was driving when He was in the accident. After seeing these pictures, I can better understand why Marks injuries are so severe. I just think that we are very fortunate to still have him with us.
Mark is doing better as each day goes by and knows that the Cadillac is a total loss. He also wanted to know if anyone on OSO needs any Cad parts. I know how Mark is about equipment maintenance so I`m sure that there are many good parts left for anyone that needs them.
