I do understand that LOGIC....but I don't think post will be allowed even after a cooling off period. This is SUPPOSED to be an open FORUM for all boating related topics as I understand it. Be it good or bad. Is there an AGENDA related to this incident....YUP....question is how many agendas and by whom?

Things were getting pretty crazy and it almost was as if we were feeding on ourselves. I think that the time out was a good thing. I`ve gotten to the point that when I feel myself getting caught up in a chitstorm, I give myself a ''time out'' and step away from the computer. Save a lot of time deleting posts that way.......and that`s all I have to say about that.

I don't know what I missed but, ram a boat you better be redy to pull the wallet out. I had a drunk dumbass almost his me while I was tied to the dock once took every bit of strength, to keep this boat from hitting me. The dumbass was like OH it wouldn't hurt anything, and I quicly told him if he so much as scratched my boat he would be paying for a new paint and thaat would be arounf 5K (Iwas guessing) he then said his boat didn't even cost that much, and I said EXACTLY. :evilb:

Had an Eliminator tie up to a Sunseeker between my BT and the Sunseeker while on the beach @ Destin. Someone on the Sunseeker decided to back off the sand a little. He drug the smaller Eliminator into my boat leaving some pretty good gouges in the paint and gel. I asked the AH on the Sunseeker for name & phone # and he declined. I must admit that I was upset but decided not to get the water cops involved as it was still early in the day and I did not want to screw up the rest of the day for me and my crew. For reasons like this I do not carry a firearm even though I have a carry permit.

I agree, hard to draw conclucions until one see's the video or saw it first hand. Even if it wasn't intentional, one of the two boats was the giveway vessel and MUST stand clear of the stand on vessel. No matter what. Even if accidental, the giveway vessel is 100% responsible. And with video it should be easy to see which vessel should have been the giveway boat.

When you are coming in to the Chanel markers (Red Right return the boat on the right has the right away) any boat trying to pass the right away boat on the left is to giveway to the right away boat on the right no matter what

Suprising how may AHs don't know about the "give way" vessel. Seems like it's who's ever bigger has the right of way and even that doesn't apply to those GD bass boats. :mad:

Guess that makes me an AH. I don't know that stuff. I just go on the thought of give everyone room and drive like on the road, stay to the right with room. Key word is room. Never had any problems as of yet.
