Whats everyone's opinion on the Dragon? I know its personal taste, just trying to gauge what people think of this boat. From asking around it seem you love it or hate it. I personally like it. Tell me what you think.

Re: Dragon Power Boats
Beautiful boat.......Great lines, stylish design, fast and well made.

Re: Dragon Power Boats
Id definately be interested in riding in one if anyone decides to dump one in Lake Erie sometime. I like the cockpit layout.

Re: Dragon Power Boats
SICK boat. It IS the ultimate. I have met Craig and Scott a few times, and you would not believe the pride they put into making this boat.

Re: Dragon Power Boats
Great Boat from what I've seen. I spent a good 1/2 hour talking with Craig at each of the previous two Miami Boat shows. We all know he knows Dragons and Cigarettes inside and out but he is also a super nice guy to talk to. A wealth of knowledge and insight. If I had the $$ I would buy one in a heartbeat.
Just my .02 :drink: |
Re: Dragon Power Boats
It all sounds nice, but how does it ride? I have heard conflicting reports from good to bad. Lets hear from someone other than the manufacturer about how this boat actually rides.

Re: Dragon Power Boats
It's a beautiful boat but how about at the docks? Looks like a pain to get out on the deck over the windshield.

Re: Dragon Power Boats
when it catches the Skater Vee or a fountain they have built a fast boat. as for the looks the boat is very nice, i seen the first one at Lake X, quality and craftsmanship were very good as well. but pretty dont make it fast

I was not that impressed with the boat when I saw it in Miami.
I'm sure it is well built, but looks like it would be hard to live with around the docks, and difficult to access the bow quick and easy. But that is just my opinion and personal taste as you mentioned. The more important thing that concerns me is this. Are they selling and will there be any resale value? I heard the following information third hand and would like to know from someone in the know if it is true. Was told that there is not an actual factory. That the fiberglass and gel work are jobbed out, the rigging is jobbed out and the paint and interior are jobbed out all to different companies. The guy telling me this was concerned that if you do have a problem, who will be there to handle it? |

Re: Dragon Power Boats
I will say that the quality of the hull is second to none. How it rides and handles, cant tell you. Also have heard conflicting reports on top speed.I like the boat, just would like to know the actual info...Also saw some diagrams of one without the partial canopy. I think that would be a hot set-up.

Re: Dragon Power Boats
My buddy has one.... 21 months ago he ordered it and drove it for one weekend (2005 SCOPE run)..... I understand it's back in Florida.
I think Peter and Paul are in the mix in this company. |
