I'm a huge believer in this suff, the water passages my 8 year old Dart aluminum intakes look like they're brand new. Not sure what's in it but I use it every time.

I use Salt Away every time I get back. As far as I can tell it's super concentrated windshield wiper fluid. I spray my trailer down with the windshield wiper fluid and it has the same effect but I wouldn't trust it in my engines.

You can purchase SALTAWAY from West Marine....they have all the sizes and hose attachments.....The stuff works very well and leaves a micro coating on all the internal pieces that it comes in contact with to further protect from salt intrusion.

Just bought some at west marine in melbourne fla.Im staying here for the holidays and I noticed my props were gray!They were covered with a film of salt,I can imagine long term imulsion and my engine blocks.I will run saltaway as a monthly service from now on.

Yup...once a month is what we do or more often if you are boating more hours than normal.

on the props....it doesn't sound like salt. It sounds like calcium.

Your props, try a little toilet bowl cleaner.

Flush your motors for 5 - 10 minutes, wash your trailer, flush your trailer brakes.

Give her a good bath with good boat soap when your done and your good to go.

Salt water boating is offshore power boating in paradise.
